A scroll of parchment tied to a tree by a red ribbon blows in the wind. In the dim light it glows an eerie pink. Tiny sparks and embers fly off of it and scorch the grass. Upon closer inspection, the glow is emitting from a near illegible and flowing scrawl.

It reads:

Vorkan is a traveling alchemist selling their fantastic wears all throughout Sorienth! Love potions? Healing tonics? Good luck charms? You want it, THEY GOT IT. Vorkan even takes requests!!! (make two requests, get the third one FREE) Have a cousin you want to curse, or perhaps an ex? Well todays you're lucky day because Vorkan does it all!!!

And even if Vorkan isn't in your area at this given time, THATS NO PROBLEM WHAT-SO-EVER. Just whip out a Handy Dandy piece of paper, fold it into a lotus and write "Vorkan" on it and WHAM BLAM KLASHAM, THEY'LL APPEAR BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES!!!!![ (no joke!!)

No money? No problem!! Vorkan only asks that you spread the word! Tell your friends! tell your clanmates!! (Vorkan also takes payment in items, tomes, and spells.) If nothing else, Vorkan would take a S i c k high five as payment!

At the bottom of the passage there appears to be an illustration of a nocturne winking, presumebly of Vorkan themself.

~ dysfunctional alchemist bisexual, is an Absolute Mess

~ Vorkan is actually pretty charming, but once people know them for more than like... a week... they just hate them lol.

~ Is actually really powerful magic-wise and is a god at using spells but they're just a dumb*ss so rip lmao.

~ the only thing he has going for him is his sense of fashion tbh.

~ Uses Petals, their familiar, to divine people's future. Neither Petals nor Vorkan have any seer-like abilities. But Petals is in on the game as well and knows how to spin a good tale.

~ has the moral backbone of a chocolate eclair.

~ doesn't know how to have a steady relationship, romantic or platonic. He has a lot of familiars tho, all of which he would die for at a moments notice. A lot fo them are smaller and travel with him, though he has a few larger ones, cat and dog sized. He was raised by beastclans and therefore understands them better than other dragons.

~ has intimacy issues because Hello It's Trauma, but is simultaneously touch starved so it's a lose lose situation. Everything about Vorkan is a lose lose situation.
