Born ages ago, before many of the living memories of the dragons she finds herself in the company of. This allows her to tell fantastic stories of her travels without many questioning if they are true or not.

Becoming a nomad was not Astalga's choice though, in her youth she was used to luxury and envious stares. Many wanted her company and she liked the attention she was getting, picking a mate was her biggest worry. She spent many, many years carefree, just enjoying life. That time is long gone though, so long she doesn't even remember faces of her parents or syblings anymore. With time her home lost it's prestige, riches and importance. Astalga was stripped of everyting she had, left alone in the world that didn't care about her anymore. She didn't have any choice but to start anew if she wanted to survive.

Being completely on her own was hard, she longed for stability and safety she used to take for granted. From naive she went to distrustful, from overly dramatic to reserved. She'd go from place to place, never really staying anywhere for long. Now various skills can be found up her sleeves, from picking locks to nursing the young. She keeps a book with some of these secrets in it, it's scarred from use and theft attempts. That journal is especially important to her as it once belonged to her father. Him giving it to her is the only remaining memory she has of her parent and it's contents from before Astalga came into it's possesion are sealed with Arcane magic. She never bothered to even open it untill she lost her home, but since then she's beed slowly decipering it's contents. Much of her knowledge came from it along with some affinity to Arcane arts her father practiced. She never leaves the book out of her sight and if needed she fights ferociously for it, not afraid to show her forceful nature.

That aside, she has shown incredible gentleness with young dragons. She shows equal care to all who fall under her wing, all of them are considered her children in the end. Be they adults or hatchlings, under her wing they will go. Despite of that she gets easily iritated by ignorance and mistakes made by youngsters and consieders herself a bad teacher.

In her long life she crossed all of Sornieth, visiting homes of clans of all elements and alignments. With her age she became less and less welcome in new places and lived in solitude for a while. In that time she'd more often run into beastclans than other dragons, none really willing to get close to her. She'd spend her days writing all the knowledge she gathered in her book. Untill she decided to come back to her homeland.
