Biography

The Orphan

Abanonded as a hatchling, Olindias was found by Chlorophyta and Sargassum only days after they had lost their secondborn daughter to an illness before she was even named. Convinced that it must be fate, Chlorophyta declared him her son in all rights, and she and Sargassum are the only parents he has ever known.

But although being taken in by the powerful founders of the clan may appear a dream come true for any young dragon, Olindias cannot help but feel that he will never measure up to the daughter that his adoptive parents lost. Despite such doubts, he finds great solace in his bond with his older sister, Halosphaera, and knows that when she ascends to the role of clan matriarch, he will be right there to serve and defend her as long as he lives.
