A creation of the Shadowbinder, born during Sornieth's first Night of the Nocturne.

Metis is wise, patient, and kind, but he has an aura of power and confidence that is strangely intimidating.

At times he can seem cold and reclusive, but during those times he's simply in a tranquil, trance-like state, and often very deep in thought. He becomes so wrapped up in his meditations that he sometimes forgets the physical world.

Small and lanky with large wings.

Metis is deeply bonded to his mate and co-leader, Satya. Her down-to-earth personality helps him stay grounded, as opposed to getting lost in the insanity of knowledge. Metis's affection and understanding prevents Satya from becoming jaded and cold-hearted.
