Bahten

Very much her mother's daughter, Bahten is fierce and confident. She has more energy than her mother, and is far more likely to be found pacing through the lair, searching out troublemakers, or loping along the borders, practically hoping for a conflict. She is eager to prove superiority over her brother Laeo, even though Azhemal is already clearly favoring Bahten. In the end, Crispin is always the judge and jury, and he has maintained silence on the matter. Bahten is no fool, and knows that Crispin takes the clan's future very seriously. While Laeo might have the more reasonable disposition, if he won't act on his beliefs or stand up against his rivals, then Bahten still has a chance, as the more active and determined potential ruler.
Ambitions aside, Bahten still has some empathy in her core. She has few close friends, and her circle largely consists of likewise powerful dragonesses, like Frivanga and Ataba. On the rare instances when she is not being an angry busybody, she can be found stretched on a high ledge with her companions, or out and about, pestering the smiths or Laeo.
