He was an artist.
It was his greatest passion. If he could avoid all his problems and ignore responsibilities... he would just draw, forever.
His late sister appreciated his art. His mother did, too. His father teased him, but that was okay. His father wasn't really harsh or anything.
He liked drawing anything, really. If he had to choose his favorite theme, however, he would say 'something whimsical.' Whimsical, as in wonderland-ish and fantastical -- endless tea parties, talking animals, magic card tricks, and strange kingdoms.
Cedric had a big imagination, after all. It only made sense he enjoyed fictional worlds and outlandish ideas.
But what in real life would count as outlandish?
He had an outlandish artist's dream: To actually be treated seriously, to have his art career praised. To never be met with 'An art career will leave you homeless.'
