An ancient consciousness recently uploaded into his 26th body, Indra's decided to take a bit of a sabbatical now that Sandsurges have become known to Sornieth at large and the project he was leading when his last body was crushed by a tunnel collapse failed has been completed despite his absence. First, though, he has to find somewhere to vacation...



Named for the thunder deity who served as king of the gods and of heaven for much of ancient South Asia and Asia Minor during the Vedic era of Hinduism, c. 1500-500 BCE. His importance diminished in the post-Vedic period, which saw the rise of the Trimūrti and the establishment of the rest of the more familiar Hindu pantheon (eg. Lakshmi, Sarasvati, etc.) By that point, however, Indra had also been integrated into Buddhism and Jainism, so his influence continued to be felt across Asia regardless.

The dragon himself, meanwhile, was purchased to commemorate a personal anniversary. Normally I would hatch an egg for a G1, but I wanted to actually use this dragon instead of chucking a disappointing G1 into the hibden as per usual.
