Asteria was hatched December 21, 2014, by the previous leaders of Broken Bow, during the first Night of the Nocturne. They raised her, being both parents as well as mentors. They taught her how to be a good leader, and when she was old enough to take over the clan, they were able to have the honor of being exalted.

Years later, she got a message saying that they were being allowed by the Windsinger himself to return. When they finally turned up at the entrance to the lair, she welcomed them warmly, and attempted to hand over her crown to her mother, Din. To her surprise, both of her parents declined politely. "We are old," They said, "And we wish to do nothing more but be home and relax. We know you can run this place, just look how much it has grown and flourished in our absence." So now, Din and Faron offer council to Asteria and Nericus as they continue to rule.

Only the second leader in Broken Bow's history, Asteria favors diplomacy and peace. She not only handles dealings with other clans, but any problems that arise within the lair. She knows the name of every dragon that lives in the lair, and makes a point to walk around at least once every day to greet them all. Her favorite part of the day is sunset, when the sky turns gold and pink and the nocturnal members of her flight start emerging from the lair to mingle with the diurnal members.

She is fiercely protective of her clan, and would do anything to protect them from harm. The clan loves her, as she is friendly and polite to all who live there.

Being a Nocturne, she sometimes starts acting too much like her mate, Nericus. Thankfully, as her clan is growing larger every day and she is around so many different dragons, it's not difficult for her to stamp down her mimicry and be herself.
