L A D O R A
POWER > Power Mimicry – GEN 1: Coloured Ruins
She/Her | Medic | Neutral Good
"On the shore where we walked
Breaking waves from the dusk When I blink, we never stopped." When Ladora was old enough to venture out on her own, she ran into many creatures with whom she resonated with. Being able to copy the powers of any being with in the realms, she found herself experimenting with everything at her disposal. She was never able to utilize others' powers to their fullest extent, only borrowing a fraction of whatever she came across. Her journey led her to the Starwood Strand, where she met the Starwood Seers and trained to become a field medic and mage in order to assist in protecting the Strand from foes seeking its destruction. Ladora ran into her best friend, Fault, on her journey around Sornieth. Out of every power she had resonated with, the power of the Seers intrigued her the most. She could see dangers that lay in the future, and work to better protect those in danger. While she would not impede on anyone's destiny, she would be ready to take care of the outcome and save lives, should the need arise. Alongside Fault, she met Neptune on the outskirts of the Starwood Strand. He guided them to the Skyward Watchers, where a beautiful relationship blossomed. Neptune was a wellspring of power, and while he had trouble seeing visions on command, Ladora was able to channel the stars to see all— past, present, and future. She was a valuable asset to the clan, as they were in desperate need of healers both on location and in the field. While she was out on healer duty with the warriors of the Skyward Watchers, she ran into Leonid, one of Fault's fathers. Tales of his hunger for power had spread far and wide, but she wouldn't let the public bias prevent her from her duty. He was a great fighter, and though he had used his powers for not-so-good intents, he, too, deserved to be tended to when he got injured. The Strand was his original home, and Leonid still felt the need to protect it despite being effectively exiled from the clan, so the two of them met very often. Fault was informed, and though her thoughts about her parents were bittersweet, she felt at ease that her father was keeping her safe from afar. |
