Chiro's egg was found in the dark recesses of the Arena. Lecha was slightly concerned to bring it home due to its obviously unusual qualities, but Fulgur snuck the egg into the lair without her permission. For this he is currently sleeping in the main hall.

Still, since the egg was now there, Lecha felt it was her responsibility to ensure that it hatched without incident. She incubated it in isolation deep in her nesting area. Chiro hatched on the winter solstice, but only a few days later did Lecha allow the other dragons to meet the chirping baby.

True to her breed, Chiro learns by example and tends to absorb the qualities of the dragons around her. She has difficulty developing her own sense of self. Lecha noticed this early on and has been carefully coaching her to nurture her own tastes. It has proven difficult, but they are making progress. They have discovered that she will eat daddy longlegs and enjoy them no matter how gross everyone else finds that.

The rest of the clan is trying hard to feel happy about this discovery.
