Aarde the Archeologist
"Ah? Now where has this lovely sample been collected from?"
"Ah? Now where has this lovely sample been collected from?"
| As a sign of good faith with the Gem Master Clan, the Glaliel clan exchanged an abandoned Arcane egg for an abandoned Earth egg found amongst the Gem Master Clan's caverns. Given to the collective of Obelisks in the lair - Aarde was well cared for by his doting caregivers. The egg well secured, kept warm, and they even at times sung to it with deep rumbling songs that echoed through out the clan. |
| Unknowingly to both clans, the eggs exchanged had hatched the same night on a nearly Full Moon. With a burst of elemental energy both eggs cracked forth into the world. The Earthen egg gave life to Aarde, a strong and sturdy Snapper. On the other hand, Oberon burst forth as a meek Fae. In the rush of excitement, messengers brought forth news of the hatching of the new hatchlings to each clan. Arrangements were made for the hatchlings to meet once they were properly adjusted. |

| Aarde was brought to the Gem Master clan by Tremayne to meet their new friend. The moment that Aarde met Oberon it seemed like the stars had sealed their fate. The two hatchlings played for hours, Oberon flying through the skies as Aarde happily chased him from the ground. Studying bugs and the soil, the two would enjoy the landscape of the Highland Sanctum together. |
| The two were inseparable, often having playdates at one another's homes. When Oberon visited Aarde he would be mesmerized by the bioluminescence of the Starwood Strand and its inhabitants. The hatchlings soon grew into star crossed lovers, always writing letters and giving gifts back and forth between the two clans. Once a week one will visit the other's clan in the pursuit of studies but many know that it is also when they reconnect as friends. |

| Aarde, once obsessed with eating dirt, now studies it and its components. Additionally, he likes to study the ruins all over Sorneith with his partner Oberon. From the Sunbeam Ruins to the Dragonhome- the pair study the insects and history along the way. Their adventures ranging from the mundane to the extraordinary, there is never a dull moment for these two. This couple in turn helps keep the alliance strong between the Gem Masters and the Glaliel Clan to this day. |
| Aarde loves his caretakers, and will often be found rambling to them about his adventures once he comes back home. Tremayne dotingly listens along, while Amphictyonis will often offer wine for him to taste as he tells his stories. Odin on the other hand will help him scribe down his accounts of the ruins and help keep his stories in order within the master library of the Glaliel clan. He also will give him stories and accounts from the past to help educate him to connect the dots so to speak. Bliss, however, is the one he goes to tell his tales of Oberon late at night when the others are asleep. He does try not to bother Bliss too much though, as she is the lead of defense at night after all. |

| Once a month, on the night of the Full Moon, Aarde can be witnessed walking out of the clan dens and out into the open flower fields on the surfce. He will then stare at the Full Moon at night, as if in a trance, once a month, with the rocks from nearby him floating in the air in a calm orbit around him. This phenomenon has gotten the attention Laina, who now studies him and often encourages Aarde to tap within his own magical prowess. |
