Amphictyonis the Winemaker
"I do wish you would partake in tasting some of our fine wines, it really does lift the heaviest of spirits..."
| Amphictyonis is the clan's Winemaker, and is often seen greeting those who visit the clan. Even more often she asks visitors to try her latest creation and bring them joy! She is a rather friendly dragon, even if she is a bit awkward with her full size and unaware of her raw strength. This Obelisk is rather naive and will fall for a lot of what she is told unless corrected by the Galiel Clan. However any attempts to deceive this dragon will cause ire from the entire clan. |
| Oh my what is that noise? The shuffling of, what, of who? Oh it's getting closer! If only I could just, move. Just move. Move. All I want to do is move. There has to be something beyond this darkness. Amphictyonis, like many of the original Obelisks, stood there frozen in stone. Her consciousness so close to the front yet none of her body moved as she felt it should. All she had were her thoughts and the occasional sounds and movements strong enough to vibrate through her rocky prison. Yet the movements were now rippling through her mineral shell, causing excitement to zip through her being. |

| Crack, crack. What was that? Oh my, what is this..? Am I feeling... cold? She thought as her confinement began to break and fall apart from her body. Move! Move! The dragon, who had never done so, tried to command her body to do so. This in turn forced the cracks to break faster, and her claws broke through the shell as she clenched her paws. She began to feel, no, hear voices as she began to break out of her encasement. |

"You can do it! Just a little bit more!" Said a small, shrill voice. It echoed throughout her shell, ringing in her skull. "Almost there..." Said a deeper, slower tone. This one just gently rolled in her mind, calming and soothing. Encouraging. |

| There are others? There are others! I must break free! The cracking, fracturing, increasing as the large beast pushed against the casing of stone. Move! And with that her wings burst through the crag, spanning wide, her legs now free. I want to talk like them! And with that she began to push her jaw against the weakening crust, roaring out into the cave, "HELLO THERE!" That boom of her voice freed her entire body from the protective casing of rock, as she landed on all four feet and recoiling at her ability to see. Her eyes shut quickly, before looking with squinted eyes. Before were the husks of many who were likely freed first. More importantly though were the origins of the two voices. A small snapper, rather pale in color, and a larger deep blue Tundra cloaked in leaves and petals. |
| "Mama Lorelai was right, it was amazing to come back to my species origin! Look, we've discovered a new species be born!" The small snapper spoke, before looking up with light pink eyes at Amphictyonis. "Hello there! My name is Rhune and this here is Aywin!" The deep blue Tundra just nodded in greeting, a slight smile on his face. |

"WHERE AM I?" Amphictyonis shouted, before watching the duo recoil at the volume. Oh, there is a thing of too loud. Let me try that again. Clearing her voice, she tried to speak more softly, "Where am I?" |
| "You're in a cave. In the middle of... Dragonhome, the domain of the Earthshaker. And seeing as what has happened, you are the newest species of the Earthshaker! Like myself." The small pebble gave a big toothy grin to the large Obelisk. "It seems none of the others have stuck around per say for those who have not hatched, and you'll likely need a clan to survive. Mama Lorelai loves to help those who need it! You'll be free to stay as long as you want, and you are able to explore as much as you want. Just need to return home your spoils." |

| Amphictyonis looked around with her new vision that was flooded with a soft blue light, her paws rubbing against the chill ground. She was barely absorbing the words of the young snapper in front of her. She instead sniffed deeply, having the scent of cold mud flood her nose. "I am unfamiliar with a lot of what you have said, but I do not mind learning! I am excited to do so! All of this is so new and interesting and better than just a life as stone. I will happily follow with you both, as you seem to not want to cause me harm." The duo grinned widely, ushering her with their wings out and back to the Galiel Clan... |
Sylvar used Dragon Census for Sorneith to check the color rarity of all the Galiel Clan members, just as part of the registration process for every member. He found the results quite interesting indeed. For Amphictyonis, she is the only dragon with her colors.
