Rhodonite

Founder of the clan, she joined forces with a lone Mirror named Pyrite as the two were alone and had little chance of survival. Both found solidarity of no knowledge of their heritage and thus decided to come together to hatch their firstborn daughter, Pietersite. Though they worked in harmony despite their communication differences, they found they didn't feel love for each other. Instead, they settled to co-parent their first offspring in harmony but without commitment.

The clan is small but growing steadily; Rhodonite has shown herself to be a small yet competent leader. Though she is a Fae so she struggles to communicate with the variety of her clan members and convey tone in her monotone expression; she has figured out ways around this. She has taken time to study how to communicate with her clan and figured out a system that, in its way, became its own language amongst the clan.

She is fairly welcoming to newcomers and has eventually fallen in love with an injured Mirror named Howlite. Their communication style somehow becomes harmonious. Even though Rhodonite struggles to convey tone, Howlite prefers actions over words anyway, so the two could communicate perfectly with little issues. Their communication is primarily silent, as words are unnecessary to show intention. Sometimes, a look and shift in body language is all that is needed.

The Precious Gems clan values gaining knowledge and understanding of the world and energy within it. Rhodonite views each clan member as a precious gem, so it is not uncommon for the members to name their children after gems or for newcomers to rename themselves after a gem they feel represents them. Names to Rhodonite hold power and meaning; if a newcomer asks for a new name, they go to Rhodonite. Because to her, naming you after a gem communicates that she believes in the worth and value of your soul. Of course, this naming tradition is optional and is not a requirement to stay within the clan, nor does it affect your rank. It's just part of the culture.
