The sky was painted in brilliant hues of orange and red as the morning sun began to rise up from behind the cliffs of the Reedcleft Ascent. The water below the cliffs was equally stunning, reflecting the lights like a watercolor painting. The breeze was strong but Sienna was unfazed as she stared at the scene. In terms of the sunrises she had seen this month, this would make the top ten by far. She hoped that the sunset would be just as breathtaking.

Her trip through the Windswept Plateau would soon be coming to a close and the uncanny aesthetic of the Scarred Wasteland was next on her list. Beauty would likely be out of reach in a place like that but it only made her even more eager to make the trip. A stormy skyline back-dropped against a landscape that can literally eat you was something she just had to see with her own eyes. And there were thousands of somethings after that demanding her attention too. Her journey was one step at a time and thousands more steps to go.
