Biography
Cymru and Lagoon came to the Bramblewood Grove from the same lair, though they'd originally come from different ones. They were born to different parents and came from opposing elements. While Lagoon was calm and composed, Cymru was energetic and loved to rough-house. While Lagoon found his charge early, Cymru ended up Searching for some time. Yet, the two Guardians grew to see each other as brothers from other mothers, and this is how they came to the Grove.
When their clan began to break up, Ceotha and Earraedhris offered the pair asylum, as the clan's leaders did not want to see them separated. Cymru rapidly agreed -- he still hadn't found his Charge, but he was loath to be apart from his brother Lagoon.
Lagoon slid into place easily, enjoying the calm of Fionnaghal's lakes and ponds, but Cymru took longer to settle in. He still had this nagging feeling -- shouldn't he have a Charge by now? Why didn't he feel a drive to go out and Search? Tussling with Hunter and the other sentries helped keep his mind off it, and talking with Lanntair and Foxfire helped as well, but the feeling remained.
It would be a few months before it dawned on him -- he hadn't felt the need to Search because his Charge was right there.
His brother, Lagoon, gentle and quiet, was his Charge.
It was right in front of his nose this whole time.
Since this epiphany, Cymru has thrown himself wholeheartedly into his new role, and with the weight of the Search lifted from his shoulders, he's started to enjoy life a lot more. Just be careful around him -- much like Lanntair, he's an enthusiastic giant puppy of a dragon, and often forgets where his paws and tail are when he gets playing!
