Two cursed beings, two corrupted souls, stuck in this body - slowly braking apart; kept together with stubborn wills to see things to the end. To see the world to the end, so they can finally rest, die.

Decay is deaf, the other can't see. Decay can understand emotions, but cannot feel them, where as Gallow can feel emotions, but can't understand them. Once they had been gods before their demise; Decay had been the god of Justice and Gallow had been the god of Mercy.

The black head houses consciousness of Decay - the calmer, quieter of the pair. Older as well - he remembers all those years stuck floating around as a broken soul. Where Gallow is mostly driven by her emotions, Decay is all about cold, hard logic. He is the one that makes all the hard choices, but otherwise happily lets Gallow do as she wants. Being as passive as he is, he rarely ends up using the powers that earned this soul his name. You see, Decay can breathe dark miasma - miasma that decays everything is touches; a truly horrific end to all.

The red head houses consciousness of Gallow - the younger of the pair. Gallow is blind, but full of emotions. Her head is a jumbled mess, she feels too much, too fast - making decisions on a whim, and getting derailed whenever new fancy hits. Unpredictable, but not needlessly cruel. Easy to anger - but easy to forgive as well. Curious about the world, but with a tainted view due to Decay. Easy to influence if you have her trust, but with such a horrible memory that she may forget days at the time. Gallow can steal the air from your lungs - lock it up; suffocating you. Unlike Decay she doesn't need to get close to you to do this - as long as she can detect you even with one of her senses, it can be used.
