Cynfael

Apprenticed under Obsicarus, Cynfael flits around the clan grounds taking notes and researching Light and Shade. He follows Obsicarus around the clan grounds as he does his rounds and absorbs how he gets information out of the dragons he interacts with. Cynfael is more diligent in his research than his mentor, preferring to ask and ask again in pursuit of information. On days that he doesn't follow Obsicarus, Cynfael will follow one shadetouched around for the entire day and take notes. Most shadetouched don't mind having Cynfael around, as hiss small stature means the light doesn't burn the way some other luminaries do when in their presence.

The only one who has minded Cynfael's presence is The Fifth Jewel Hemlig - for some reason his shade is only accepting of Sjalastiel's light and he will lash out to even the smallest of dragons. Perhaps because of of this, Cynfael finds himself drawn back to the duo time and again, testing the limits of his proximity.
