Biography
A cheerful, passive, gentle giant with a love for vibrant colors.
Basker finds it easy to get along with most dragons, as his worry-free demeanor is almost contagious.
He’s very loyal and naively trusting when it comes to his friends, and he hates to let others down. Could this lead to him being taken advantage of? Probably. But most don’t have the heart to be cruel to him.
Basker suffers from a severe case of shiny object syndrome, and is very quick to spend his treasure on anything shiny or new that catches his eye. Luckily, he’s supplied with a large amount of wealth from his elders.
He’s a very impulsive dragon, especially when others are in danger. Because of elements from his youth, Basker is very quick to try to help someone he believes is needing of his help or relates to in any way. This usually makes him the primary target of tricks and scams.
Basker has never known his birth parents, as he was hatched an orphan. He was later taken in by his elders (a pair of faes with a hoarding problem who saw him as part of their hoard) and raised by them. His childhood was filled with a surplus of resources, though he had to be very careful not to break anything in the hoard (which became increasingly difficult as he grew bigger with age).
He later set out on his own once he outgrew his elders’ cave (look up the size difference between imps and faes, it’s pretty funny). He mainly spends his time at humble settlements, working as a traveling merchant.
