Aegis

The firstborn son of Breezehome's Progenitors. Does not currently have a mate. Aegis grew up with a heavy sense of expectation on his shoulders, despite his parent's efforts to dissuade it. Even though he and his siblings were always encouraged to forge their own paths, Aegis couldn't help but feel some level of responsibility to his family and their legacy. As he grew older, he unintentionally started to distance himself from any form of friends or hobbies, rather throwing himself into studies.

The only semblance of a non-familial relationship that he maintained was with Ezra, his silver-furred faun companion. They had met when they were both young, awkwardly bonding over their shared social anxieties. Finding that they had much in common, the two began to find excuses to meet, and they became nearly inseparable. When conversation faded away, Aegis and Ezra would often spend long stretches of time just quietly existing with each other; engrossed in their own activities, but enjoying and being comforted by the other's presence nonetheless. As they grew older, they both became aware that their relationship seemed somehow closer than regular friends. Not necessarily romantic, but perhaps something more akin to a queerplatonic relationship. For now, though, the two live together in the eastern sector of Ashwing Hall, supporting each other through anything that comes.
