Kane

Infectionist Specialty: Transmissible spongiform encephalopathies

Kane comes from a long line of Necromancers, and had spent much of his younger years preparing for the Trials. He passed with relative ease, if one could label a gauntlet of suffering as such. Nonetheless, Kane emerged on his 24th day scarred and bloodied, but strong and resilient. Mother had noticed him, and had given him her approval by granting him an insidious gift...
While able to manipulate simple viral and bacterial infections with relative ease, Kane is able to inflict spongiform encephalopathy, a prion disease that eats away at his target's brains, descending them into a spiral of madness and agony before they quickly perish.

While not entirely unique on its own, he chose to focus on mastering this gift, and as a result has quickly risen to a position of recognition among infectonists.

Kane set out from his home clan with the intention of spreading Mother's will to a clan outside the plaguelands, but his plans changed when he came upon the shipyard of the Ghastly Fleet and found himself suddenly surrounded by The Rangers.

Pestilent quickly deemed that Kane was not a threat to them, and instead made the decision to bring him to Lucifer.

They'd heard of these Necromancers before, but had yet to encounter any out their way, and as expected, Lucifer was overjoyed to meet such a gifted and powerful being, touched by Mother herself. He eagerly welcomed Kane into the shipyard.

On the flip, Kane found his interest was piqued. Lucifer was not a Necromancer, nor were any of the other members of his crew, but it was clear to him that the dragons here also possessed some kind of special gift from Mother. Her magic was strong here, and he could feel her influence in his bones.

Kane decided he and his scribe would join the fleet, as no clan serving Mother with such zest should be without one of her chosen Harbingers.
