Packs of raptor-like undead roam the dry lands. They do not seem to tire, get sick, or fall prey to the elements, but they are possessed by an insatiable hunger. They are known to fixate on their prey, pursuing them for days until the target is dead.

They are infamous for the sound they make, a bird-like sound made by shrieking and clacking their teeth at the same time. It is said to sound like cackling, and it is the last thing heard by many a victim.

This particular specimen is unique among its kind. It seems to be the leader of its particular pack, noted for its size and the fact that is draped in ragged remains of clothing. No one knows how or why it wears them-- no one wants to think about it too much.
