Biography
Walking between the stores, you come across a building built around a tree who's branches were adorned with soft, colorful fabric lanterns. All of them unlit at the moment.
Stepping inside, your senses are greeted with the smell of old books and leather, softened sunlight, diffused by sheer curtains covering the windows of the library you just wandered into.
In the very middle, surrounding the trunk of the tall tree, was a wrap around desk where an Obelisk appeared to be in the middle of something.

B I O G R A P H Y
Poet and his siblings were born of a sacrilegious union between the leader of the law enforcers -Geni- and the leader of the white sparrow -Azalea- . . .Which has really made him and his siblings quite interesting since their hatch day. Poet grew up mostly on the run with his mother, never staying in one place for long, his father looking to 'get rid' of the young evidence of the union. During their constant uprooting and moving, he gained a love for mapping his surroundings, then further a love for texts of any kind, be they historical or fantastical. *Around this time, Poet changed his name from [deadname] and understood he felt more like a himself than a herself* During his teenage years, he and his siblings returned to the clan to grow up among their clanmates. -Time when Petrichor disappeared-. After his brother disappeared, he locked himself away with his books, looking for any explanation as to what could have taken him. During this time, he became a bit of a recluse, his Ink ant -Vial- and his brother -Pansy- being the only ones to draw him out. Since becoming an adult, he took up the position as local Cartographer and Librarian, keeping old texts safe and creating maps for the adventurers according to what they've discovered. Today, Poet is well known among the clan, beloved by the explorers and avid readers alike for his dedication to his work. The only times he leaves his shop/home is to either give books to his brother -Petrichor- and the hatchlings he watches or to visit his brother -Pansy- to try the dishes he's made from food across the continents. |

D I A R Y
The following text is in an unknown language, most likely a code. As such, I will instead tell you a bit about this little bean. Poet's voice is soft but very raspy, mostly from misuse as he very much dislikes being loud in his library. Poet quite likes trying Pansy's cooking and renditions of different meals he comes across in his adventures. Despite disliking rowdy and or loud dragons, he is very fond of Petrichor's charges, adoring the hatchling's love for tales, be they true or works of fiction. Poet likes the comforts of his peaceful town life, but don't assume he's unable to take care of himself in the wild, he knows a lot about survival and has many of the abilities needed to survive. This mans is just so sweet, he doesn't have a lot of social skills due to his upbringing but he does try his best in his own strange ways to connect with those that he feels are worth the effort. Some of the books in Poet's possession may or may not be magical in nature. Poet has a list on the wall of dragons banned from his library and a three strike system for loaning books. Dog earing them is one strike, staining them is two and anything worse than that is an instant ban. ~The bottom border of every page in this book are decorated with tiny little ant doodles~ |
