Gender: Male Age: 105 Occupation: Apothecary Hometown: Frigid Floes Theme Song: The Binding of Isaac: Antibirth OST - Machine in The Walls Rudolph, although he begs for anybody to just call him 'Rudy,' is a young male Tundra dragon. His body is a bit below average in length, but he is well-built, and looks very healthy and fit. His wingspan is quite large for a Tundra dragon, which as a result, the knuckles of his wings occasionally drag across the floor. Rudy is very gifted in flight, able to maneuver with incredible ease. He is in pristine medical condition, with no visible scars or imperfections to his body. His fur is very well-kept, and silky smooth like expensive fur. Rudy has a sheepish look to him, preferring not to get too involved with the perils of conflict. However, there is an intelligent glint to his eyes that tells you that he already sized you up, before he decided he was comfortable enough to approach you. He often tries to pitch jokes, but they hardly land, due to his expansive vocabulary. |

S T O R Y
As an infant, Rudy was abandoned at the doorstep of a medic's lair. The medic, named Drifa, took the young boy under her wing and raised him as her own. Drifa taught little Rudy the ways of the humble apothecary. Rudy was raised knowing how to treat all sorts of injuries and illnesses. After he became a teenager, Rudy was sent to serve in a college to study medicine. After a decade of thoughtful study, Rudy graduated at the top of his class. After Rudy graduated, he left as an adventurer to explore the domain of The Icewarden. On his adventures, he came across many travelers in need of urgent medical aid. One day, he rescued a baby Skydancer named Noel on the outskirts of Frigid Floes. Seeing himself in the abandoned child, Rudy decided to raise Noel like his own. Rudy realized that he can no longer travel if he is going to give Noel a stable childhood. This is why he made a deal with The Frostmeister, that he would be the clan's medic in exchange he is allowed to stay with them and raise Noel.
More recently, Rudolph has adopted Christopher. Christopher, although a light dragon, had been relocated to The Icewarden's domain in an attempt to escape the conflict between the elements of Light and Dark the dragons in those regions have to suffer through. Unfortunately for baby Christopher, Ice World is constantly under attack by not one, but two nations. It was in one of these attacks on the Frigid Floes that infant Christopher was separated from his family. Rudy found Christopher, but noticed something was off about the small child, before he was able to reunite the baby to his parents. On a mission to help the survivors of the attack, Rudy met Christopher's parents. Christopher was very obviously a child with special needs, and parents were unable to give Christopher the proper care that he needed. And so, Rudy, with a heavy heart, agreed to adopt Christopher. Even though what Christopher has is lifelong, with no possible treatment, Rudy could not bear to see a child live in a home who could not help care for him. Rudy knows he has made a commitment that will without a doubt outlast him in life, so he searches The Icewarden's domain for something to keep Christopher eternally youthful. Rudy knows that Christopher is more likely to be kept by a family if he remains eternally youthful. And so, a way to ensure Christopher has the proper care he needs when Rudy eventually dies, Rudy searches for a way to keep Christopher young forever.
