Pamtse

Itanta's older brother, wiser and more patient than his reckless sibling, he raised him when their parents passed away suddenly from the plague that wracked their village. Itanta hadn't even hatched yet, but Pamtse, despite being the only parental figure he'd ever known, couldn't bring himself to fill the shoes of "father", not yet at least. He trains and tries to guide his brother as best as he can, but even his patience wears thin at his brothers' antics. Despite his repeated efforts to explain to him that you can't rush the future, you can only focus on the present, nothing seems to stick. Pamtse can't count on all of his claws the number of times he's had to pick his brother up after a failed hunting mission where he'd tried to be impressive, or a failed jump where he was "sure he could make it this time." It's only by the grace of the All Mother that Itanta hasn't been reunited with their parents yet. Despite him accelerating the amount of gray hairs Pamtse's growing, he would move mountains for his sibling, and loves and protects him fiercely.
