Biography

POSEIDON'S ON A MISSION


Often written off as a troublemaker, Overboard is one of the more lethal guardians of the Cove with a hankering for metals to salvage from wreckages out at sea. He jokingly refers to himself as an all-terrain surge, content whether he's in the sands untouched by the sun, or the frigid deep oceans beyond the shorelines. Overboard picked his name from the shouts of wayward sailors, enough irony that even Tethys cracked a smile at the story presented to him. Still, although his methods are brash and panic-inducing, they are certainly effective, and the Coves have never seen a single intruder from the water—except for perhaps the remains of what would have been one, anyway.

His salvage parts come back to him in his den, where he goes from troublemaker to local machinist for the Coves, constructing structures to shelter nests and lightning rods and capacitors to absorb wayward strikes that often arise, especially in the summers where clouds and water are more volatile. He certainly is aware that he's part of the problem there, of course, for tipping ships is no small feat, even for his size. Alas, such is the punishment for straying too close to his home. The poor souls should have seen it coming.
