Stun

Stun was one of the dragons who cared for the hatchlings, particularly those too young to begin training. He trained in the art of fighting and using his flametongue abilities, but much preferred the quiet life in the village. He played with the hatchlings, made sure they were fed and in bed at reasonable times, and kept them safe. Stun took his duties very seriously.

When the village was attacked, Stun kept to his duty. Although he felt guilty for not fighting to defend the village, Stun knew he needed to get the hatchlings to safety. He evacuated all the hatchlings in his care, trusting that the other caretakers would do the same. He doesn't know what happened to the other dragons, but the hatchlings in his care (Dance, Shade, Comet, Vand, and Wicked) all escaped unharmed.

After some time, Kempfana found them and brought them to his new basecamp. There was a slight disagreement with Clan Divaricata, as it is a law of the clan that hatchlings are kept in the nursery, where they are watched over by the clan's caretakers. However, Stun wanted to keep his charges with him and the Flametongues. At first, they were required to stay at the nursery, with Stun almost always hovering nearby. Worn down by his dedication and obvious anxiety, Butler agreed to set up a secondary nursery at the Flametongue encampment. Stun has now resumed his duties, watching over any hatchlings that arrive.
