FragileFang

"Tiny little scrap." Spat the hatchlings father, Ellie. He shuffled his wings worriedly at the sight of the sickly looking runt squirming put of the remains of her egg.

"Tiny but mighty." Droplet reprimanded her mate softly to not scare their child. "She got out of her egg by herself, she will thrive. I'll make sure of it."

"Droplet, she's so... so... Fragile." Ellie fought for the right words. Droplet hung her head in silent agreement. She gazed at the brightly colored hatchling in her nest. She feared for this little life. She had never seen a hatchling look so small before and was unsure how she would help keep this runt alive let alone healthy.

The hatchling yawned greatly revealing sharp large than normal fangs. They looked comical for their size compared to her Tiny frame.
"But my my. What frightful teeth you have." Droplet mused as she gently tickled the hatchling. "I bet you can tear apart all sorts of prey with those chompers."

As if on cue, the hatchling bit down hard on Ellie's outstretched claw. Her fangs sank deep into the soft fleshy part of the finger. Ellie winced and stilled his body to prevent himself from unintentionally harming the hatchling

"Oh boy. Those are some absolutely painful fangs." He sputtered through clenched teeth. Droplet snickered.

"Let's compromise," she said, "let's name the child FragileFang, in honor of how she entered this world. Fragile but fiesty." FragileFang released Ellie's finger and he withdrew it hurriedly before she changed her mind.

"MM. May she forever cause her enemies to underestimate her power through this title." Ellie chuckled as he inspected the damage. "Just as I did. Oof. This is gonna scar." Blood slowly flowed from the finger in agreement.

As time passed by, FragileFang did indeed cause many a dragon to underestimate her and many a dragon has earned some permanent bite scars due to their negligence. As the clan grew, FragileFang found a desperate need for leisure and drink and opened a tavern. Business boomed for FragileFang and her renown flourished, drawing in dragons from all around.
