Name & Title: Waver, Lair Sentinel

Bio: Waver is one of the first born of the God-queen and the most intelligent of the siblings. His abilities were given, forced really, upon him by his mother. She was looking for a way to make her forces impossible to catch off guard. She succeeded to a degree making Waver the clan's best sentinel. The organ grafted to his head is sensitive to magic energy so much so it can be used to create an image of an area with little effort. The organ was created from some acquired material of a skydancer's head jewel, and with some tweaking it was made much more potent. Due to his ability to see everything around him at all times Waver is rarely surprised by anything. He can detect expenditures of magic energy from much longer distance and is then able to focus on that area to get a detailed picture of what is happening. This technique took Waver a long time to master, the time before was filled with headaches and inability to focus. The only way he was able to block out his perception ability was when he read tomes. This habit has persisted and it is likely that Waver always has a book with him. Granted he can now read while scanning his environment for threats so reading is more of a pass time than a remedy now. He doesn't participate in combat to great extent as he isn't great at fighting. Instead he acts as a support unit providing magic boosts and healing when needed.

Waver can seem distant at times as he is often lost in his book while watching for danger far away from where he is. Since his ability can't truly be turned off he can be on guard for seemingly no reason making it harder to keep his attention near him. He is fully aware of his lack of social graces and tends to avoid interacting if possible. Any interactions he does have he tries to keep short, answering in as precise a way as possible. Waver does care about his siblings and clan mates, but does so in his own way. Outside of the clan he doesn't have friends nor does he really try to make any, but it could happen one day.

Special: Local Clairvoyance - Waver had a magic sensitive organ grafted to his head by his mother. The organ allows him to gain a visual of an area within several dozen meters of his location if he concentrates or in the area around him passively (roughly 10 meters). This vision makes it nearly impossible to sneak up on him if he isn't focusing his attention elsewhere, and impossible to hide if he is scanning an area.
