Itzel was abandoned to the cruelty of the wasteland until his adoptive mother, Statem, found him and returned him to the clan. While his mother's personality was vindictive, the love she graced him with melded him into a kind and compassionate soul; one not seeming to belong to the Haarim. But the knowledge of the horrors of the Plague stands true within him and he believes that once the Haarim walk the path Nullum has governed, he will never be abandoned again.
