Mirror

Mirror sat in the Auction House, padding around in her cage, red eyes wide and wondrous to the world around her.

Up trotted the mirror, who came to a dead stop from her sprint, heels grinding into the dirt, and eyeing the young hatchling with duel heads.

She gasped, Mirror gasped. Lizboltis recoiled, and Mirror recoiled. Lizboltis tilted her head, and both heads of Mirror tilted in the same direction, meeting her gaze with all five eyes. Liz stuck her index talons into her mouth, and pulled her corners apart, crossing her four eyes, and sticking out her tongue with a "Bleeeugh...!" Laughing, Mirror attempted to do the same... Only to find she did not have enough hands. Instead, she used the duel tail tips in conjunction with her claws, and mimicked Lizboltis' silly expression.

Even with a new clutch of children, and one only a day away from hatching, Lizboltis knew she must take this aberration home, and call her a daughter. Love at first sight.

Liz introduced the aberration to her current children near immediately; Eventhorizon, Snaggle, Notos, Tresb, and Acttius, all bore witness to their new little sister(s). Hence her name, Mirror mimicked the movements, and mannerisms, of her new siblings, just as she did her new mother.
