The Voice of Reason

You watch in awe as this crimson beauty soars through a series of graceful aerial maneuvers as if she'd been born to do them. A navy ridgeback stands a few feet away, staring up at her with a heartbreaking look of longing on his face. You ask an idle dragon who they are, and she tells you that they were some of the first dragons to form the clan. Cerise acts as a advisor to the clan these days, and Styx protects the clan. Rumor has it Cerise and Styx had a tryst when they were younger.
Looking at Styx now, you wonder if he wishes that tryst had been something more...
