A miner for all her life. She wished she knew at the time. A group of jovial friends entering the mines to go about their daily routine. Tough work it was, but Quinlan, resolute as ever, ploughed through the stone and ore without breaking a sweat. A looming sense of dread overwhelmed her. Her mates uncharacteristically quiet. Then it happened. The abyss above her gave a sickening jolt, a deafening rumble- the earth poured down in cascades of dust and rock. A frantic scramble for the others, yells of fear and pain. They escaped thankfully, though all terribly shaken. Quinlan enduring the worst of it: an arm beyond repair.

Bitter and cynical would be a great way to describe Quinlan. Ever since the loss of her arm, she's had a bleak outlook on life. Even more so when her husband Samiras took up a new 'hobby' involving talking to spirits, "ridiculous" she called it. Yet despite everything, she remains immensely dedicated to her craft- even while missing an arm. Said arm was replaced with a drill, allowing her to continue life as a miner without her biological limb. Loughran asked for her aid in the quest to find the lost Starborn gods, and Quinlan (along with her mad husband) have agreed to help.
