Wigend

It's a well-known fact that among coatl clans, one born with naturally dull plumage is a bad omen. Wigend was cast out the moment he hatched, not even being given a name. Against all odds, he managed to survive in the unforgiving wasteland, thanks to the protection of a traveling band of warriors. He learned all that he knows under them, and after he grew up, he left. None question why a red-clad coatl travels alone. He eventually ventured into the Tangled Wood, where he met Shade's clan. It had been a long time since he lived among other dragons, and feeling a sense of longing, he decided to join them.
