Born in Arcane near the Observatory, Kalei found that her drive to explore was drawn less to the stars and more to the natural world around her. She soon felt the call to leave her parents' clan, so she one day flew as high as she could manage and let the wind take her where it would.

After several days' journey south, crossing the Starwood Strand and staying high above the Wandering Contagion, Kalei descended into the reeds on the north point of Wind territory for a break. There she met a kind old Guardian who was escorting a lost, defenseless Tundra of her clan back to home safely, and who offered her shelter in the same place.

When Cinder/Blaze came out for moderns, I realized Gembond on Skydancers and Coatls could add to the accent colors on Blaze really well! I scried a bunch of dragons with Blaze & Gembond but I ended up splurging on this printer-ink-CMYK-themed girl. She's bright and chaotic and I love her

I keep wanting to make a hatchery pair with different colors for Blaze + Gembond but I haven't done it yet.
