Flame

"The flame long gone, but the warmth that once stood still remains."

Imagine yourself on a barren planet. No sign of life. Just sand. Powerful gusts of wind swirl strongly, slicing through you, with no breath of air.

"And I'll stand here, waiting."

Waiting for what? I'm not sure. The reason or cause long lost taken by time itself. Chipped and torn, no longer identifiable. The one who stands, above all else for the uncertainty of time.


An unkept promise, and one willing to risk it all, for the small chance, that what was said has been true.

"I am no longer who I was before, for time had changed me."

A lovestruck dragon, who soon had gained dementia, cursed to wait for eternity for a promise never kept. Two dragons in love, or that was what it had seemed, deep inside one of them had a secret. A deadly illness, which had taken control of the dragon's life. Instead of breaking the news to their partner, they tell them its a trip, and they'll be back sometime. It's been years since then, and they wait patiently, in the same spot they've stood for centuries. Bits and peices of them break off, with time wearing them down. Their love so strong, they stay there, standing even when just a corpse. A soulless husk, standing for eternity, until the end of time itself.

OLD LORE

Corrupted with old technology, causing a glitch, which made it sentient. It began rearraging itself, to make itself seem like a dragon species, 'abberation'. It's missing a few bits and peices, with its tail missing chunks, and forming golden feathers out of sand.
