Eye Agate The Move 10.png

I thought those steppes were safe. We all thought they were.

A paradise where the youngest younglings learned to soar.

But of course, calm winds always turn sour.

A terrible storm rushed through our camp and our leader- our self proclaimed leader - Cobalt urged us to leave. I could not blame her. This clan was her pack, the family she had built from the ground up. Any chance at safety was crutial.

Bunsen and Bonita were of course the ones to lead the charge, crazy as they are. Lead and protected us as we travelled. But strangely, this was by request of Cobalt. With Tri to keep an eye on them of course.

The sights and sounds were captivating, but nay, it was hard. Finding temporary home with fellow tribes created rifts and caused tension. Some of us had to leave to retain our sanity.

With a day or two of aimless wandering, looking over our options, Cobalt turned to the Reedcleft. To carve a lair into such a gargantuan cliff would mean protection against all harsh gales. So we flew, and flew, and walked a little.

Choosing a cliff to carve into was definitely infuriating. Cobalt could not make up her mind! But as we toiled and toiled to no avail, the alert Solstice noticed we were being watched...
I joined her, searching around, not really noticing the blatantly dragon-shaped statue - carved from the finest eye agate - hidden among the reeds.
Now, Eye Agate can be found in the windswept's most treacherous caves, but is generally moreso associated with Plague's wastes thanks to its resemblance to the Wyrmwound. I had my suspicions about the strange statue, mayhaps it were a plague-borne obelisk. The statue vanishing mere moments after I took my eye off it only confirmed it. I alerted Solstice, and she likewise alerted the others. We began to search.
Firefly was the one to dig out the obelisk's folly, whom was indeed a child of plaguebringer.
When confronted, it defended itself, claiming this her birthplace.

Turns out, this plagueling was living in a precarved tunnel, and had seemingly been abandoned there. When we explored this tunnel, we went further than this hatchling - who proclaimed her name Spark - did on first try. So believe me when I tell you when this tunnel opened up to an expansive cavern that no-dragon had previously touched. Harpies of the distant past seemed to have called this place home.
But, it was spacious, enough for all our folk to enter. Cobalt seemed impressed by this place, being safe and secure, with consistent breezes. She was quick to call this place our new living space.

And from our first home, to new and prosperous, Cobalt also saw fit to bless her clan with a new name. Looking to the skies, she hoped Windsinger would approve of the clan's new name:

The Clan of the Windbroken Breeze.

Spark has been living in the Reedcleft Ascent for the vast majority of her life. She doesn't know why she's there, perhaps it's something relating to her mother. Either way, Spark isn't complaining. She's got the same survival drive most plaguelings possess and for such a youthful dragon, she's a real tough cookie.

Either way, despite her tough exterior - quite literally in most cases - she's taken a liking to Saturn whose politeness has really brought her out of her rocky shell. Whereas most of the time she can be found alone protecting herself in her agate statue form, she will come out of the form for Saturn, whom she sees regularly.
