Amos

Amos comes from the relatively small clan ruled by Vixthra. In order to trade for food and other materials needed for survival, Vixthra and her clan trade young dragons to be trained at the special schools within the Heritage Clan. These schools work to train dragons to serve the Arcanist in petty battles against other flights.

Many of Amos' siblings have bland colorations, and live and die looking listless and unremarkable compared to other dragons found in the Heritage Clan. While being examined, Amos' will against being exalted to serve the Arcanist manifested in the form of Arcane energy and changed him physically, awakening vibrant colors and patterns across his flesh. Harnessing Arcane energy is virtually impossible if not born within the Arcane territory of the Starfell Isles. Immediately the proctors and professors of the academies took an interest in him, and he was saved from the hard life of exaltation, and given the role as an emissary to serve as the direct Ambassador to Vixthra's clan, from whence he came.

However, his moral compass will not allow him to continue to let his friends and family be sacrificed to the battle efforts of Arcane, and secretly he trains and urges dragons from Vixthra's clan to help them awaken magical power as well.
