Hades

A retired assassin with thick cataracts who uses shadow magic to "see". He no longer works as a hit man, being of advanced age, and has taken refuge from the law in "The Land of Misfits". He has amassed quite a fortune from his days as an assassin and lives quite comfortably in a small lair in the heart of town where he rests his aching joints and occasionally wanders down to the bar for a drink. He moves surprisingly well considering his arthritis and inability to see as a normal dragon does. He does not consider himself as one of the "misfits", but understands that he would not be taken care of when this clan was still at its "peak". Hades still has a sharp tongue and quick wit but doesn't share stories of his childhood and career very often, still seeking to protect himself from whatever law enforcement resides in the clan. He has a notoriously terrible relationship with Righteous, the royal guard, as she is heavily suspicious about Hades' aims, even though Hades insists he retired many years ago. He has given up on arguing and resorts to jokes and sarcasm instead, which only solidifies his standing in her eyes.
