Artem

Artem has long watched and felt the struggle of his family. The great pain caused by the Voidsoul curse's mind twisting effects; a call to sadism so powerful it disturbs even hardened warriors. He felt he had no choice but to study medicine. To try to find a cure for them, and himself.

He understands how useful the power is for demon killing, but he never felt it was worth the cost. Try as he may, though, he never managed to find a real way to remove the curse. No matter how powerful he became. His greatest attempt was a full transformation - from a Gaoler to a Skydancer. Even with his body changed, the curse clung to his soul.

Despite his knowledge of healing and magic, he rarely agrees to work on other dragons. He is always terrified he will be overtaken by dark thoughts, and may try to harm a dragon who can't defend themselves. He gets by selling potions and magical reagents as he travels, still looking for some way to break his curse.
