Deuce found himself in the Auction House, among the exalt fodder dragons, due to some erroneous navigating and a fancy flying trick gone wrong. In his defense, of course, he was only a hatchling at the time. He would never make such mistakes now.

Thankfully, the clan spotted him there and adopted him before anyone else could, saving him from premature exaltation. Once safe, Deuce returned to what he'd been doing previously - flying wildly and engaging in extremely questionable aerial acrobatics.

Even now, fully grown, Deuce loves to do those very same things. He's also taken on an official role in the clan - Flight Instructor for the clan's hatchlings. Most new clan members are adopted as brand new hatchlings and they're not the best flyers. Deuce helps them learn how to control their sometimes unruly little wings and guides them to become flyers adept enough to handle themselves.

Deuce hopes to start a traveling troupe of flying acrobats. His dream is to one day be able to use his flying talents to entertain millions. In the meantime, he campaigns with Coral to introduce some kind of aerial/racing team sport to the Flight Rising world.
