Delta

Abandoned by her former master, Delta found herself alone, homeless and forgotten. She turned on herself for her inadequacies- convinced that only she could be blamed for her misfortune. She lost trust in herself, and she lost her pride. Left with no ties to anything, she found herself wandering over Sornieth- leaving the Viridian Labyrinth, passing through Dragonhome and the Tangled Wood- through the Scarred Wasteland and to the Starfall Isles.

It was in the Starwood Strand that she was introduced to magic and its wonders, and through this craft that she finally found herself. Day and night she studied, impassioned and sincere in her desire to learn more.

She thought she’d find her home here, but it was not to be- a small mistake was all it took to bring her fear of abandonment bubbling to the surface and oozing out of every crevice of her mind and soul- and she found herself fleeing before the night could come to pass.

Lost again and this time certain that she would never find a place to belong- she became a vagrant once more. She fled back to the Scarred Wasteland, and traveled east through the Tangled Wood once more. With her weary mind, and weak wings, she ventured off the beaten path and took her rest in the Tsunami Flats.

She found a beauty in this place, the gentle push and pull of the tide brought her peace, and for the first time in many months, she slept peacefully. She wanted so badly to make this place her home.., yet she knew there was no place for her here, and she carried on- her next and final destination, the Shoredeep Presage.

It was here that she found the Tidesong Reef, a small yet venerable clan. She made a friend for the first time in many years- a sweet and loveable Pearlcatcher by the name of Stardust. From this friend she learned that this clan had been abandoned by its leader and left in disarray and panic. Her broken and miserable heart felt a kinship with these people- she wanted.. no- needed to help them. She knew she could offer them nothing, and her soul coiled and cried in agony and shame.

Despite her failings, she knew she could never come to peace with herself if she did nothing. She turned to those left behind, a beautiful pearly coatl and her wise mate, she offered her help and begged for their guidance.

They saw a potential in her that they had not seen before- tender heart and a burning soul, with a little guidance and a push here and there… they knew she would make a fine leader..
