Tau

Tau's earliest memory is of parents he can't see the faces of, but they imbue him with ideals he must keep to. Independence, strength of will and great resolve. He was too young to understand these properly. He doesn't remember much else of them. His early years were spent running through the Hewn City, trying to avoid the eyes of other dragons. Until one saw him, Coelestia, and tried to give him a home. "You're like me" they said to him "aren't you?". He responded with a roar, as big as he could manage in his small frame.

Coelestia taught him of the stars, and how they were going to journey to another land to speak to them. The land was full of stars, and great power flowed through the very air. Tau couldn't resist that idea. Tau was taken under Coelestia's wing, and they both found their way to Rubelite's clan. They tried to teach him the ways of the stars, but those ideals stayed with him.

He grew up to turn his back on Coelestia, the closest thing he had left to a parent, and go against their wishes. They wished for him to be a pacifist, but instead he learnt to fight with magic unlike that he thought could ever be wielded. Sometimes he hears from others that the stars speak of misfortune in his future, but he's yet to find it.
