Biography
Boreas grew up in a tavern run by his parents. The tavern was located on the route between the Howlchaser and JemDragon clans. He was a rambunctious youth who decided to never settle down. Instead he became some what of a bard, practicing music and voice magic, while also helping run the tavern.
At the tavern, he met many interesting faces. Those of dragons hard on their luck. Convoys from different places in Sornieth. Those from near by beast clans. And most often, trade caravans and ambassadors from the Howlchaser and Jem Dragon clans.
It was during once of these convoys from the Jem Dragon clan that he met his future mate, Alizeh (though he did not yet know it). There was a spark of disdain immediately. Boreas' and Alizeh's initial interactions could easily be described as explosive and loud, like dumping cold water into boiling oil.
Boreas hated how prim and proper she was and went out of his way to torment her from making her food to salty to under pouring her drinks. Their arguments and snide remarks at each other would always turn heads and many times Boreas would be sent away to "go collect good from a trader" just to keep them separated.
But Boreas was also very observant and watchful. Though he never planned to settle down, he disdained any dragon who could not take the answer no and would not back down. It on such a night that he saw Alizeh being observed obsessively by a male dragon who had too much to drink. When Alizeh left the tavern, the male dragon followed. Boreas followed silently to make sure no trouble would be had. This is where he found Alizeh was being tormented by unwanted advances outside the tavern. Alone, cornered, and terrified, Alizeh did not think she would escape the larger male dragon, but because Boreas had followed them out the tavern and he defended Alizeh with powerful magic.
From then on their interactions were cordial which over the years evolved into playful and friendly banter. Boreas found that Alizeh had fun, mischievous and playful side that he never expected from the usually stoic dragon on a political convoy. And soon they became one as a mated pair.
Boreas moved from his family's tavern and set one up at the base of the great tree that housed the Jem Dragon clan. There he continuous his family's traditions and plays music for any who needs their spirits lifted. Many of the clan come to visit from a hard days work. He has become great friends with Robin, who will often come with hatchlings in tow. Their Robin will spin great tales to the young ones while Boreas plays his lute in the background.
