It is seen as so many things

“Haunted” “Detached from reality” “Empty”

All these titles can sum up the ruin city’s reputation, and more.

Dragons of all shapes and sizes; all the elements in sornieth think twice about entering these ruins. As Ghosts,Thieves and Evil roam freely. Dragons who dare live here, who dare enter as a whole either hide from the chaos or run with it- Shadows bathe the land from day to night; Light being able to enter only through the fire,lava and dragons who trick their foolish peers into dabbling in their art. From the smallest hatchling to the oldest dragon on earth- each of them know than to enter Hewn city…

That didn’t stop you from entering, of course

As you walk over destroyed buildings and cracked pavement, you can only wonder what made you come here in the first place…The hatchlings who dared each other to set one talon onto the pavement? Or the nursery tales mothers told their children into scaring them into eat healthier. Pure curiosity seemed to seal your fate. You question yourself what exactly you came here for, if you came for anything at all- Vendors who set up their sales with mobile structures,remains of buildings or intact buildings as a whole almost lure you in with their extraordinary designs and impossible offers. Sirens screech in the distance, sounds so painfully loud you cannot decipher at all what it is; all you know is that those who were around you- dragons and familiar alike are suddenly gone, or, maybe they were never there to begin with?

You find yourself wanting to escape from the noise as soon as possible, Heel turning- you carefully yet peacefully tread through dangerous streets and eerie alleyways, the noise becoming more and more faint. Until you stop in front of a uncomfortably newly built store looming ahead of you. Windows and doors fully intact and with a soft purple paint finish, the building is the size of a small town bookshop, long curtains drape the outside as they do for this inside, stars and planets decorate them- And you can’t help but reluctantly go inside.

Met with darkness, you guide yourself through the room, instinctively using your dominant hand to block whatever item is blocking your way.

“If you want to find your way towards the light, open up your eyes~ dummy!”

With quick movements, you obey. Revealing a winding hallway, and a faint light. With a new goal of finding a way out, you follow the voice through the tunnel, the light gets closer and closer- finally walking into a room you can see. A concerningly small room is what you are greeted with.
"So small" You mutter, bending down to your knees and crawling into the room, expecting the owner of the voice being at the far end. The same decorated curtains hang the ceiling, you push away most of them with ease, but the seemingly last one is opens up to a large chest looming in front of you; Light shines brighter on top of it. Curious, you rise back up, and surprisingly the room is bigger here.

“Oh”

Many things happen in hewn city, weird, paranormal things; But what you see before you takes it all. A rather small Aberration sits behind the chest, Right hand on a very bright crystal ball, it was stroking it slowly and menacingly. You look down for a second but look up a few seconds after, surprised by the Aberration staring at you with a cold, vicious glare.

“Welcome dear~ “Welcome dear!” The dragon speaks, one after another. Right head letting out a soft snicker to her other half. “We have an offer, A wondrous offer! And i think you will be delighted to take it, wouldn’t you?~” They offered, speaking in unison, with a low voice. Intrigued, you return to your knees but sit upright, and make a slow, reluctant nod.

"Look into our eyes...Tell us whom you seek to overpower!"
