Rowyn Keen Blacksmith with an amazing sense of humour Uh-oh, looks like Rowyn wandered a little too far from his home lair the Inevitably Unmannerly Mockingbird Paradise, and now he's off to see the world! Inevitably Unmannerly Mockingbird Paradise
Rowyn can make friends with any dragon. It's not just that he is funny and thoroughly entertaining to be around, but he is also one of the friendliest dragons you'd ever meet. You wouldn't be able to tell any of this just by looking at him though. In fact, many dragons' first instinct is to run away from him as he can be very intimidating by the way he looks, especially if he is carrying around some of the weapons he makes. Those that give him a chance quickly find out that he is basically a big teddy bear on the inside.


Thunderbolt
Rowyn's first stop was a small Lightning clan by the name of Thunderbolt. Well, it was less of a clan and more of a camp, where dragons were trained to join the Stormcatcher's legions. Tide, the leader, allowed Rowyn to stay as long as he'd like, under the condition that he would create weapons for the upcoming Warrior's Way celebration. He agreed, and ended up staying for most of the event.

The dragons of Thunderbolt were cold and untrusting of the new Pearlcatcher, despite his charisma and skill. However, he made a friend in the young Renay, another Pearlcatcher and a prolific mage/trainer. The two would go out on many expeditions together, and were basically inseparable whilst Rowyn was in Thunderbolt. They got on so well that they had a clutch of eggs together, resulting in Rowyn having his (first) 3 children: Ingot, Ember, and Weld. He stayed longer than he'd anticipated to make sure the hatchlings were alright, and when it came time to leave his small family had only well wishes for him.
