Janus

Janus gets her name from the two-faced roman god Janus, the god of doors, divides, and transitions. He often represented the transition from many things, like age, or even the difference between uncivilized and civilized.

Her familiar is a Janustrap that she came across while playing, and decided she liked so much that she brought it back to the lair. She stated, "Look Cerastes, it's just like me!". While plants are not the most interactive of pets, Janus tries very hard to show her love to the trap.

Note: I didn't know there was a two-headed flytrap with the name "Janustrap" while naming her!! It's just a coincidence they have the same name, albeit a fun one.

| - Hatchling Age

Astara had found Janus wandering while she was on a hunt, much to her dismay. It was Astara's first time seeing a live aberration dragon, and it was very off-putting. She did manage to eventually pick her up and attempt to find where she came from, following her scent trail. It led her to the local marketplace, so she decided to keep the little hatchling and bring it to the clan.

Janus eagerly learns as much as she can, asking many, many annoying questions. Her black head tends to be very peaceful, wanting to know more about dragon relations, social norms, and how the world works. Her white head leans more to the technical side, asking how items work and the like. Both heads disagree a lot, ending in minor injuries sometimes. When they fight, the white head focuses on viciously attacking their foe, while the black one plans and uses their elemental breath if the fight is bad enough. Certainly, a hatchling to fear.
