Above the feuding forests of the commonfolk and the warring kingdoms of the royals, there is a garden raised from the earth known as Yr Ardd (or The Garden) by its residents. Led by the fearsome and graceful Rhoswen and her timid mate Meredith, the residents of Yr Ardd believe themselves to be carriers of light and colour to the world below, and many are blessed with exceptional magical abilities. Many born in the peaceful glades of Yr Ardd remain there, though many more take their leave to provide the world below with assistance through their great abilities. Dragons who leave Yr Ardd have been known to make exceptional warriors, gardeners, landscapers, magicians and healers. |

Game Information:
The Yr Ardd Hatchery is an Imperial-only* payment-optional hatchery for dragons that are the offspring of the Imperials living in a place called Yr Ardd in my lore.
Dragons given away/sold at this hatchery may potentially be fairly unique colours, so keep an eye out for those if this is of interest to you.
There may be revisions to lore in the future and extended lore is planned for the future. There is no requirement to connect your purchased dragons to the lore, but you are absolutely welcome to and encouraged to, if you wish! You may interpret the lore however you wish as well. Hatchling letters are also appreciated. Most hatchlings are counted as semi-canonical on my end, and even if their lore may differ or diverge completely then their existence may still be acknowledged in passing.

Notes:
» All hatchlings from the Yr Ardd hatchery will have  Light eyes. I may occasionally be prepared to ask my friend ArynAlba to nest them in her lair for  Fire eyes, but this will only be on specific request.» Hatchlings may occasionally come with suggested outfits that match the cultural attire of Yr Ardd. There is no requirement to use them, however you do have full permission to use them if you wish. The large, dressed up image of the dragon on this page will link back to the outfit. Please make sure to save the outfit yourself if you plan on using it, as I may delete these outfits in the future some time after hatchlings are sold. » Hatchling letters and the like are gladly and happily accepted! Once again, there is no requirement to write these, but I will gladly read them! |
Rules:
» There are no rules against exalting, renaming or lore choices. You are, as you should always be, free to do whatever you wish with your hatchlings once you own them. Do not feel like you are required to work their lore into that of Yr Ardd if you do not wish to. However, I do ask that you avoid obtaining dragons from Yr Ardd for the express purpose of exalting them, and anyone found to be using Yr Ardd simply to gain free dragons for exalting will no longer be allowed to claim dragons. Exalting them occasionally is totally fine, though. » I do request that you consider keeping at least one of the hatchery icons in your dragon's bio. All hatchlings come with a small text note indicating their origin, however there are other options available if you would like a different look to the hatchery credit. You can also make your own credit, if you like. Removal of credit entirely is fine if you really prefer, though. It's just a request, if possible. » If you use the outfits suggested, credit would be appreciated but it is not required! You are also, of course, free to take inspiration from the outfits for other dragons, if you wish. They are just suggestions and can be used (or not used) however you wish. |
