a plague priestess encountered on the Sojourn.
may be the keeper of the Mother's Tear. or may at least be someone who knows its location or has heard of it.

the Sojourners were sent to find something that doesn't exist, as part of many criss-crossing power plays within the political body governing the Several Circles. it's a story for hatchlings.

except the Mother's Tear does exist. it remains to be seen whether that will be a good thing for Ruriske, or Larkspur, or other key players back at home.
