***ignoring eye-type = flight type = magic type in flight rising in this AU. Amek has wind, water, and lightning magic.

Ideas:

* isn't actually an obelisk, just looks similar to one. has SOME of the shapeshifting abilities he has in canon, but not the same extent. Can only say.... alter number of teeth + markings + alter the amount of limbs they currently have (to give flippers, or diff types of claws/hands/tail etc) CANNOT give themself new limbs

*Cursed being? Or spirit?

* lonely, but dragons are put-off by him, so he fights for entertainment to get that attention kick. dragons are MEANT to be scared and frightened of him there, so it feels normal. + he gets some respect/awe for his fighting prowess + does have fans, which is also fun. Otherwise keeps to himself?

* also happy to work as mercenary/guard or honestly most kinds of jobs using his body in some way. doesn't care much for riches, and more likes to get payed in trinkets or food or just plain old company. really loves to get payed with a song :-)

* travels around mostly. but DOES have a house + a hoard where he keeps his things which he is very very protective over. it is in a mountainous area overlooking the sea.

* has enhanced healing, but still scars and is very scarred.



differences in personality to canon Amek
* more happy-go-lucky and less cynical (but still fairly cynical.)

* not as reserved + more open with emotions, since he didn't have September training him to be this way in this AU lol.

* clingy-er more lonely, more willing to do things for others/attention voluntarily.

* even more reckless since he doens't have to worry about social/political consequences all the time in this AU, or making Sept angry at him. Reckless and impulsive, will do things bc he thinks theyre fun and he wants to. Or will do things that are dangerous without thinking too hard, doesn't care about himself and presumes no one else truly does either, so who cares. When sh`t hits the fan he just starts magic blasting and well it usually works bc he got that insane powerful magic.

* not even HALF as charismatic/suave. more class-clowny and fairly socially awkward tbh. Still very perceptive but just never learned to act right/not ever in an environment to hone that skill like canon Amek. Still talkative as all hell tho.



differences to typical obelisk
* Like canon, red iris only shows with intense emotions. otherwise, whole eyes r pitch black.

* mane is not storm clouds, just fur.

* all paws are webbed. has both gills and lungs. ears are longer, more rabbit-y, but still poke from sides of his head, not upward.

* despite the everything, still has a normal dragon lifespan
