Inspiration: The Butterfly Dragon
Description: Butterfly Dragons are a subspecies of the Imperial dragon breed. They are characterized by their distinctive white scales that shimmer and glow in darkness.
Additional Information: Butterfly Dragons have the ability to morph into tiny butterflies — after which they are named — in an attempt to conceal themselves from dragon hunters, other dragons, possible threats, etc. Their main habitat are heavily wooded forests, but they do tend to venture around to surrounding areas. They are not predominantly nocturnal, but they do have that tendency. They will often test souls they come across for ardor, bravery, charity, and dedication. If the test subject proves him/herself to the dragon, they will help them achieve or acquire their heart’s deepest desire. Rarely, they will even give their shedded scales as gifts to those they sense are pure-hearted and worthy.
Regulations: To be a registered Butterfly Dragon Descendant, a dragon MUST possess the following: XXX White genes with these specific markings:

Firefly, AND be able to trace their lineage back to the the subspecies’ founding father Aponi (#84708819); otherwise, it is not considered a Butterfly Dragon and will not be accepted to the registry.
